Taphophilia (dot) Com would not be possible without the knowledge, experience and talent of DarkestWeb. From
its conception and early development, DarkestWeb
was faced with many challenges; from inspiring and motivating, to providing guidance and direction. The continued dedication and support has produced results greater than ever expected, and for this, I owe a huge debt of gratitude.

Cremation Trail offers burial option in forest surroundings PDF Print E-mail

WAUSAU, Wis. A memorial park in Wausau is offering an alternative to gravesites in expansive fields. Restlawn Memorial Park has established the One With Nature Cremation Trail, a wooded area where people can have the ashes of loved ones and pets interred.

Office manager Tom Dean says the idea caters to people who want less-expensive burial plots surrounded by nature.

The trail is a path winding through trees in a forest setting. Burial sites will be marked with natural-looking stones _ artificial or real _ instead of large monuments.

Judy Cherwinka says she likes the idea because it'll be easy to get a site next to her husband, who passed away in October. She also says the area is simple and peaceful.
The trail is still being developed. Officials say when it's done it'll be able to accommodate the ashes of 500 to one-thousand people.
