A Taphophilia Thank You...

Taphophilia (dot) Com would not be possible without the knowledge, experience and talent of DarkestWeb. From
its conception and early development, DarkestWeb
was faced with many challenges; from inspiring and motivating, to providing guidance and direction. The continued dedication and support has produced results greater than ever expected, and for this, I owe a huge debt of gratitude.

Armin Meiwes, the German man serving a prison term for killing and eating a lover he said agreed to be his victim, is set to become a millionaire by selling the film and book rights to his story.

Meiwes contacted Bernd Juergen Brandes through the internet and claims the pair agreed to have a sexual encounter that included him eating Brandes body parts.

As well as butchering him, he filmed himself eating Brandes body. Meiwes was sentenced to eight and a half years imprisonment earlier this year.

Now a German film company called Stampfwerk says it has acquired the rights to the story, which could make Meiwes a multi millionaire when he comes out of prison.

The story had already grabbed the headlines of the German media, as well as the international press.

Additionally, Channel 4 made a programme about the case for its Body Shock series earlier this year.

The proposed film is the second to be announced, while Meiwes also said he was in the process of writing his memoirs.

Whether the Brandes family try to block the release remains to be seen.
