A Taphophilia Thank You...

Taphophilia (dot) Com would not be possible without the knowledge, experience and talent of DarkestWeb. From
its conception and early development, DarkestWeb
was faced with many challenges; from inspiring and motivating, to providing guidance and direction. The continued dedication and support has produced results greater than ever expected, and for this, I owe a huge debt of gratitude.

CRIME-busting cameras are being installed at a cost of £15,000 to stop thieves preying on the cars of people visiting graves at Antrim's Belmont Cemetery. Following a spate of theft and vandalism at a car park at the graveyard, councillors have agreed to put in a CCTV system.

Ulster Unionist councillor Adrian Watson said it was a "terrible indictment on society" that such measures had to be taken.

Meanwhile, Antrim council is examining the cost of putting a CCTV camera in to monitor another part of the town - the area round the Dublin Road bridge - which has been plagued with vandalism and open-air drinking.

The council had looked at drafting in a full-time park ranger or part-time security but opted for the camera.
