Malawi, Africa - Unknown persons in Zomba ex humed a grave and stole the body of 3-year-old Alinafe Kasingo just days after she was buried, police said yesterday. Police spokesperson for Eastern Headquarters, Eureka Chapusa, Alinafe Kasinga of Kadzuwa Village in Zomba died on Monday last week and was buried a day later. However, on Saturday, September 1, a man with a garden near the graveyard noticed that the grave had been desecrated.

“He reported to the village headman who confirmed that the body of Alinafe had indeed been removed from its grave,” said Chapusa.

The matter was reported to Thondwe police. Chapusa said investigations are underway and if caught, those responsible would answer charges of tempering with a graveyard.
