Taphophilia (dot) Com would not be possible without the knowledge, experience and talent of DarkestWeb. From
its conception and early development, DarkestWeb

Tri-State Crematory operator Ray Brent Marsh is scheduled to turn himself in to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson this afternoon to begin serving his 12-year sentence.

Marsh, 31, operated the crematory in Noble where 334 bodies were found strewn about, stacked, buried and piled in vaults on the Tri-State property in February and March 2002.

He eventually was charged with 787 felony counts, which included 122 counts of burial fraud, 439 counts of theft, 179 counts of abuse of a corpse and 47 counts of making false statements.

In a plea agreement reached in November, Marsh pleaded guilty on all counts and was sentenced to 75 years with 12 to serve.

Marsh would be eligible to have his case reviewed by the Parole Board in four years and four months.
